Iodine incise drape, also known as iodine incise film, is a transparent, adhesive polyurethane film which allows the skin to breathe, preventing moisture build-up under the drape. The drape is impermeable to liquids, bacteria, and viruses, but permeable to Oxygen, providing essential protection for the wound site during surgical operations.
The drape adheres throughout long surgical operations to the surrounding skin and the wound edge. It maintains a sterile environment surrounding the surgical incision and can also be used as an NPWT film dressing.
